What a great field trip we had to Fun Town last Friday- The math and science was nice to explore, but the socializing was great. I hope your day was a memory for a lifetime.

Good Tuesday Morning,
In math class we are progressing on with the trig functions of sine, cosine and tangents. I hope you got familiar with the formulas with yesterday's work, so today we can apply them.
Homework:pages 466-467 # 13-23 all
We still need 5 chaperones for our trip to FUNTOWN this Friday.

Good Monday Morning,
I hope you all had a restful Mother's Day Weekend and did something special with your family.
In math class, most of you did an excellent job with the special triangle quiz on Friday. You will be getting those back today and need to correct any errors if necessary and have your parents sign them.
We will start with some trigonometric functions today. They sound harder than they are so hang in there.

Good Rainy Morning,
Today we should be able to do some math! That is a refreshing idea!
We are continuing on with special triangles: 45 45 90 and 30 60 90 and the formulas for both types. I believe that you are catching on and with today's lesson, that should happen for most kids.

I hope you all have a safe and healthy weekend.
We are taking the NWEA tests today in math class. Tomorrow in math class we are restarting new concepts after a break with the toothpick bridge contest. We are looking into special triangles and getting an understanding of square roots of irregular squares. Sounds difficult, but hang in there, it is easier than it sounds.
