Good Snowy Wednesday Morning,

In math class today we are going to be taking part 1 of a 2 part test on chapter 6. I divided it into 2 days as the work solving the problems can be time consuming and I wanted to make sure you have the time to do the whole test. SO today, we are doing 1/2 and tomorrow the other 1/2. You may bring in any notes or calculator you need.

Homework: Review the second part of the chapter

FYI:
* Progress Notes need to be signed and returned to teachers asap
* Stocking stuffers for our young lady needs to be in by Friday

Good Thursday Morning to all,

What is the probability that we will be having an early release today? What about coming in tomorrow with all the sleet forecast?

Well until we are dismissed, we will be covering circles and their properties. What is the relationship among the radius and the diameter and the circumference? How do you estimate and then use the formula to figure out problems with circles? Bring in your math materials including a calculator and we will plow through this material.

Homework: Classzone chapter 6 section 4 eworkbook

In the event we do not meet tomorrow- have a great Friday.

Good Thursday Morning,

Today in math class we will be going over the word problems you did for homework last night and making sure you can get through the steps to break these down into. We will then move into solving multi-step inequalities. Again, we will build on the foundation we already have, so this may not be too hard.

Good Wednesday Morning,

After looking over the homework comments from last night, I am glad we are still on solving inequalities. I am hoping that with another night of practice, it is becoming more of a rhythm. Let me know in class how you think this concept is going for you. Also, was breaking down the steps of WORD Problems a help to you? Let's review this: read the problem, pull out the math, box in the question asked, work the problem out, and finally, make sure the answer does indeed answer the question boxed in. We will continue on with dismantling word problems so they are not so scary.

Homework: pages 274-275 # 24, 25,26,38,48

In tutorial today, the makeup test is offered. Your ticket to this retake is attending yesterday's white board Tuesday.

Make this a great day.

Happy Monday Morning,

Today is the first day of December! And it even looks like winter. I hope you all had a wonderful Thanksgiving and are ready for today.

In math class, we are plugging away with inequalities. Very much like the equations, but rather than 1 solution, there are many. We will review and blow out the cobwebs from your break last week, so don't panic if this is not sounding familiar yet. We will cover multiplication and division today.

Homework: pages 148-149 # 8- 34 even numbers
Have your last test signed by parent/guardian
