Oh Happy Wednesday,

In math class we will be finishing up on the Recipe Project. I will meet with the groups to go over the rubric. While I am meeting with them, the rest of the class will be doing a task in Chapter 10. Search through 10.1 to find 3 BOLD words or phrases that you are familiar with and write them down with a definition and example that has meaning to you, and include the page number that you find this word. IN addition to those BOLD words that you are familiar with, you must also find 3 BOLD words or phrases that you are not familiar with(complete with page numbers). Continue on with 10.2 and 10.3 doing the same task for each of these sections.

Today everyone is taking the drug and alcohol survey that will delay the start of classes. When that survey is completed, we will be having ALL classes today. What will be eliminated is the SSR/Tutorial time, so come prepared with your presentations today in math class.

I would like to extend a grand THANK YOU to Mrs Plaisted who was so dedicated with calling parents to ensure that all students had a "CUPPY CAKE" celebration at the end of each month. She worked hard at this job for over 1 1/2 years!!! Thank you so much. Now, Mrs Johnson is taking over the reigns, so listen for her call this week.

In math class we are working on putting the finishing touches on the Recipe Project. Most if not all recipes should be converted before class today. Today prices should be found and completed price list should be a focus. On Monday, the visual and organizing the presentation should be tackled. Make sure you are using the RUBRIC as a guide to this project. Presentation start on Tuesday.

We are continuing on with the Recipe Project. I will be looking over the recipe conversions for all of your recipes, and you will start getting the prices for your ingredients. Presentations are starting on Tuesday. Check out the sites on the board to help out with this project.

Homework: Finish the price lists for all the ingredients from your recipes.
